It is hard to believe that we are only 100 days away from another Olympic Games.

Barely six months after the end of the Tokyo Olympics, the winter edition of the Games will kick off in Beijing. After hosting the 2008 Olympics, Beijing is on track to become the first city to host both the summer and winter editions of the Games.

Team USA will once again travel to East Asia to compete in the Olympics, this time swapping surfboards for snowboards, sneakers for ice skates and skateboards for skis.

Here’s everything you need to know about when Beijing 2022 Olympic Games will begin, the events athletes will participate in, COVID-19 protocols at the Games, the Super Bowl overlap on Sunday, and more:

Exceptions to the vaccination rule will be assessed “on a case-by-case basis, based on medical reasons”.

Team USA won’t have to worry, however, after the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee announced it will require all athletes, coaches and staff to be vaccinated before Beijing.

In addition to the vaccine mandate, daily PCR tests against the coronavirus will also be required.

“We have been in constant communication with our partners regarding this change, and we are delighted with the unprecedented opportunity to bring the two biggest media events to the American public simultaneously,” said NBC.

“We will be promoting the Super Bowl during the first week of the Olympic Winter Games, and we will be promoting the second week of the Olympic Winter Games during the Super Bowl. This is a victory for us, our partners, the advertisers and certainly the viewers.
