Rosie’s facility expansion more than doubled

VINTON, Va. (WDBJ) – From jackhammers to jackpots, Rosie’s Gaming Emporium in Vinton has more than doubled its games and space with the completion of a new expansion.

The establishment has extended its entertainment in more ways than one.

“Our customers, simple supply and demand, wanted more gaming space,” says Ernie Dellaverson, regional general manager of Rosie’s Gaming Emporium. “We went from 15,000 square feet, we added an additional 18,000 square feet. 350 more games and these are new games that no one has seen in the area before. In fact, we also brought in another component that we’re very excited about, a live scene as well. So we have a place here.

Guests also have additional parking with the addition of a 280-space parking garage.

“There has been a lack of entertainment in the area,” he explains. “There are a few places in downtown Roanoke, but now we are bringing it to the Vinton area and I think there is a demand for this adult entertainment in our area.”

The project was underway in the spring and cost $ 28 million.

“The town of Vinton loves it,” Dellaverson adds. “It was such a great motivation for them, such a great economic driver. I’m begging a lot of people to come down and visit downtown Vinton. There are a lot of great little stores that they have incorporated there. New restaurants. It has been a win-win situation for both of us.

Rosie’s says that before the expansion it could hold around 480 people at a time.

Now it can hold almost 1,500.
