Another contestant on Netflix’s Korean dating series Single’s Inferno has raised eyebrows over Song Ji-a’s fake designer wardrobe scandal.
Fan favorite Shin Ji-yeon gained attention on the show for her enviable figure, but some viewers later suspected she might be wearing padded leggings to enhance her shape.
The 24-year-old neuroscience student has now addressed the rumors in a Q&A on her YouTube channel.

The brunette denied using hip pads or padded leggings to create her hourglass shape, which some fans said made her look more “Western” than her co-stars.
“I didn’t wear it,” she insisted, before adding, “My hip is originally wide.”
Ji-yeon’s body became a hot topic in Korea after Single’s Inferno contestants had to strip down to sportswear or swimsuits to complete a challenge.

It comes after Ji-yeon’s co-star Song Ji-a, better known by her online nickname Freezia, was recently called out for wearing fake designer clothes on the show.
‘I didn’t wear it!’ Speaking to fans during a YouTube Q&A, the brunette beauty adamantly denied using hip pads or padded leggings to create her enviable curves.
Fans later discovered that the influencer had also used designer knockoffs to gain followings on Instagram and YouTube by creating a fake image of herself.
The 25-year-old had introduced herself as a ‘golden spoon’ – a Korean term for someone born into a wealthy family – but it was later discovered to be a sham.
Ji-a has since issued two public apologies and deleted her social media accounts, and is now on hiatus from the entertainment industry.
